Wood Farm

Ubbeston, Suffolk

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing Suffolk home alongside the construction of a contemporary single-storey extension designed by architect Tim Moll. The new addition is defined by vertical timber cladding and clean modern lines, creating a clear contrast with the original rendered house while remaining sympathetic to its rural setting.

The extension provides a spacious kitchen and living area featuring a bespoke kitchen by Rob Timmons, London, complete with Gaggenau appliances and large sliding doors opening onto the garden.

Alongside the extension, the property underwent a comprehensive upgrade, including a new roof, improved insulation, aluminium windows, and a reconfigured internal layout with new bathrooms and finishes throughout.

A full renewable energy system was also installed, incorporating an air-source heat pump, solar panels, battery storage, and underfloor heating to improve comfort and efficiency throughout the home.
